I’m Lucky to be Featured in SheSpark’s “Keeping It Hot” Edition
My Favorite Midlife Women’s Magazine (Online!)
I’m not entirely sure how this happened. But I’ve managed to hornswoggle may way into Audrey Stefanik and Thea Wood’s brainchild, SheSpark.
I suppose it might be because I hit on them at the 70s disco party at the Midlife Women’s conference in Vegas last spring.
What can I say? Thea was dressed like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. I couldn’t help myself.
SheSpark is an online magazine for women-of-a-certain age who want to know how dressing “age appropriate” can still be alluring.
Or what French women know about beauty that we Americans need to commandeer stat!
Or how to take selfies over 40! There’s an actual technique. (You’ll have to read the July issue to learn that one.)
And let’s not forget dispatches from the sexual realm from sex scholar Walker Thornton.
The magazine is colorful, fun, hopeful and funny.
SheSpark makes mid-life and beyond seem like the next frontier. (Which somehow makes me want to phone William Shatner and get side-by-side mani-pedis while sipping Creme de Menthe over crushed ice.)
Feel free to have a look and share. I contributed to a piece titled, A Starlet, A Scholar and A Stripper. I refuse to divulge which one is moi. xo S
